Temporary Technical Employment Opportunities (2 vacancies)

The School of Chemical & Pharmaceutical Sciences currently has an urgent requirement for temporary technical staff to provide support for chemical laboratories in the areas of analytical, organic, inorganic, physical and process/pharmaceutical chemistry. It is envisaged that the roles to be filled will focus on technical support to synthetic chemistry and early undergraduate laboratories. This is an opportunity to gain direct experience in key technical roles within higher education. These posts will be filled on a temporary wholetime, emergency basis with a maximum duration to December 22nd 2017.

The School has particular expertise in many aspects of Forensic Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Technology and chemical and Pharmaceutical Analysis. State of the art undergraduate teaching laboratories in these subject areas are complemented by a computer laboratory which provides the latest in education and training software. We have post graduate courses for the Pharmaceutical Industry covering Manufacturing, Validation and Quality Assurance.
